<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device and electronic equipment in which a variance in characteristic of an electro-optic element can electrically be compensated. <P>SOLUTION: The computing element 33 of a data line driving circuit 13 compensates image data DT using correction data Δh1-Δhm of correction data memory 31 and outputs them to a line memory 34. In the line memory 34, in response to a second timing signal ST2, each corrected gradation data contained in line data is stored in each memory section 34a. Each gradation data stored in the memory section 34a is outputted to the corresponding converting section 35a of a digital/analog conversion circuit 35, and in each converting section 35a, analog data current Id1-Idm to be supplied to data line X1-Xm is generated based on the inputted gradation data.
