PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and an information processing method for efficiently managing and offering a function requiring exclusive control. SOLUTION: This information processor 1 is provided with a first management means 240, which offers the function 37 requiring exclusive control to one or more client 200 and manages a series of first processing group and associated information while a session with the client 200 is maintained, and a second management means 230 managing a series of inseparable second processing group performed by using the function 37 requiring the exclusive control. The first management means 240 starts management of the first processing group on the basis of a management starting request or a request excepting the management starting request from the client 200.
