PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroacoustic transducer capable of properly vibrating a diaphragm by eliminating variations in a gap between a coil and a magnet and to provide an electronic apparatus employing the same. SOLUTION: The electric signal transducer 1 is provided with: the planar diaphragm 2; and a vibration generation drive source 3 to vibrate and drive the diaphragm 2. The diaphragm 2 supports the vibration generation drive source 3 on its rear side toward one end 2a. A cushion member 9 with elasticity supports at least the one end 2a and two sides 2b, 2b opposed to each other while being orthogonal to the one end 2a. When the vibration generation drive source 3 is driven, the diaphragm 2 is vibrated in a direction orthogonal to the face of the diaphragm 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
