PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk device wherein noise is small by reducing the collision sound of a dimple part during unloading. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a regulation part 25a for regulating a space between a slider 4 and a suspension 22, and a spring part 23b for energizing the formation part of a dimple 23 so as to bring the dimple 23 into contact with gimbals 25 attached to the backside of the slider 4.
