PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of a hood lock stay capable of attempting improvement of rigidity of a radiator core upper and stably fixing a hood lock. SOLUTION: This connecting structure of the hood lock stay 4 is connected to roughly central parts of the radiator core upper 2 and a radiator core lower 3 respectively extending along the car widthwise direction in the vertical direction of a vehicle and wherein the hood lock 6 is fixed on its upper part. The radiator core upper 2 is formed in an opening cross-section shape at least having adjoining wall parts, and both of them are connected to each other in a state of forming a box shape 11 by arranging an upper part of the hood lock stay 4 so as to cover an opening part of the opening cross-section of the radiator core upper.
