PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric for a curtain with excellent light shielding property and heat insulating property. SOLUTION: The fabric for the curtain with light shielding property and heat insulating property includes a light shielding resin layer, containing fine particles with performance to reflect sunlight, on one surface of a needle-punched nonwoven cloth without a resin impregnated therein, and a heat insulating foam resin layer by a urethane foam resin, etc., on the opposite surface. The light shielding resin layer on one surface of the fabric prevents the invasion of sunlight, etc., to provide excellent light shielding property, in addition to a function of blocking the view. Since the needle-punched nonwoven cloth having inter-fiber space exists in a center part and also the foam resin layer is formed on the opposite surface, especially excellent heat insulating property is provided by including much air with little heat conductivity.
