METHOD FOR PRODUCING PROTEIN RICH IN SERINE BY UTILIZING CYSTEINE SYNTHETASE GENE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a protein rich in serine, by culturing a bacterium which contains a cysK gene and a gene encoding a foreign protein.

SOLUTION: This method comprises a stage of culturing a bacterium which is transformed by a vector containing the cysK gene and another vector containing the gene encoding the foreign protein, or culturing another bacterium which is transformed by a recombinant vector containing the cysK gene and the gene encoding the foreign protein, so as to acquire the foreign protein.
