PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detection element capable of being put to practical use by raising the sensitivity to a sulfur compound gas of a sulfur compound gas detection element with a sensitive layer 1b primarily consisting of a tungsten oxide semiconductor and raising gas selectivity.
