PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency and durability while controlling manufacturing costs and also realizing stable speed change motions in a structure in which speed change is changed by making circular arc movement of oscillating frames 21 and 22. SOLUTION: Before a power roller unit 71 comprised of the oscillating frame 21, a trunnion 30, a displaced shaft 32a, a power roller 4, a plurality of bearings 47, 47, 53, 55, 58, 66, and 66, and a support shaft 34, which are independent components respectively, is assembled in a toroidal type continuously variable transmission, they are assembled in advance in positional relation of the completely assembled toroidal type continuously variable transmission.
