PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reinforcing fiber for slope face seeding and planting having superior uniform dispersiveness in vegetation soil. SOLUTION: A wettability imparting agent is stuck to a surface of polyamide short fiber. The wettability imparting agent desirably includes a lubricant and a surface active agent. Ester of univalent alcohol and univalent carboxylic acid is suitable for the lubricant, and a nonionic surface active agent is suitable for the surface active agent. The wettability imparting agent of 10 pts.wt. preferably includes the 2 to 9 pts.wt. lubricant and 0.5 to 8 pts.wt. surface active agent, and 0.8 to 1.6 wt.%wettability imparting agent of fiber weight is preferably stuck to a fiber surface. Dispersiveness in the vegetation soil is improved, and the movement and erosion of the vegetation soil can be effectively prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
