PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for capturing a flying insect, introducing the insect to a bag-shaped insect-capturing part having a small diameter and attached to the end part of a sweepnet so as to be freely detachable by the momentum of swinging of the tool for capturing the insect, precisely adsorbing and holding the insect without exception by an adhesive installed in the inside wall of the bag-shaped insect-capturing part, enabling only the bag-shaped insect-capturing part to be hygienically disposed of at the disposal by taking off the insect-capturing part from the sweepnet body without unpleasant feeling, and enabling the use of the tool to be restarted by attaching a new bag-shaped insect-capturing part to the body by a simple operation. SOLUTION: This tool for capturing the flying insect has a handle 2 capable of being held by one hand, a ring-shaped frame 5 fixed to the terminal part of the handle, a large-diameter bag-shaped net 6 having the outer perimeter edge supported by the ring-shaped frame, and the small-diameter bag-shaped insect-capturing part 10 detachably attached to an opening part 7 formed at the end part of the bag-shaped net. The adhesive 13 for adsorbing the flying insect invaded to the interior of the bag-shaped insect-capturing part from the bag-shaped net is coated at least on a part of the inner wall of the bag-shaped insect-capturing part, and the shape of the bag-shaped insect-capturing part is kept by a frame body 14 for preventing the adhesion-coated part from sticking to each other by being deformed.
