PURPOSE: A method for controlling a central computer connected to PCs and a numerical controller and a control device thereof are provided to connect plural PCs and a numerical controller with a central computer to enable a concentrated management in one place, thereby easily controlling the PCs and the numerical controller. CONSTITUTION: A central computer(10) is embedded with a common program, and is controlled by the common program. The first packet software unit(21) retrieves whether signals outputted from the central computer(10) are properly flowing. A hub unit(30) distributes the signals in connection with the first packet software unit(21). The second packet software unit(42) retrieves whether the distributed signals are properly flowing. Plural PC-NC units(50) are controlled by the signals outputted from the second packet software unit(42).
