<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a voltage type self-excited power converter by suppressing maximum interruption current thereof. <P>SOLUTION: Each functional section (Z, Gi(s), PLL, PHC) of a drive control circuit regulates the phase angle ϕ of an AC side output voltage Vc from the voltage type self-excited power converter CNV with respect to power supply voltages Vr, Vs and Vt. Based on the regulated phase angle ϕ, a phase drive control circuit PHC controls the phase of a gate signal having a constant pulse pattern synchronized with the frequency of a three-phase AC power supply SUP and then drives the voltage type self-excited power converter CNV with controlled gate signals g1-g6 thus controlling input currents Ir, Is and It. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
