<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and easily perform the information confirmation work of glass sheets stored in an internally contained object of a packing body. <P>SOLUTION: The upper face part and the bottom face part of an internally contained object 3 comprising one or more packing unit bodies 2, in which a plurality of glass sheets G are held and stored in substantially vertically and in parallel with each other, are covered with an upper lid 9 and the bottom lid 10 respectively. Side face parts are covered with side walls 11, 12 so as to open one side face part or opposed two side face parts, and the open parts are covered with a transparent member 15. The side walls 11, 12 are constituted of two side face plates covering the two opposed side face parts of the internally contained object. The upper end part and the lower end part of the two side face plates 11, 12 are covered with the upper lid 9 and the bottom lid 10 formed separately from the upper and lower end parts.
