<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device to stop an automobile by pressing a friction bar of a rotating body against the ground when tires slip while the automobile travels. <P>SOLUTION: A slip-emergency pedal 2 which is sensible only when a regular brake pedal 1 is most deeply stepped in is installed on a lower side of the regular brake pedal. When the automobile slips in an uncontrollable state, and a driver steps in the brake pedal to the distal end, the pedal reaches the emergency pedal, and a holding piece 5 is extended by a transmission mechanism to rotate a friction bar 4 formed of a rectangular rotating body.
