PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of simply extracting video data in a range where a desired object to be photographed is photographed from photographed video data for utilization, and to provide a video data storage device and an imaging system. SOLUTION: There are provided: an object-to-be photographed discrimination means for setting discrimination information for discriminating the object to be photographed and discriminating a specific object to be photographed from the video data captured by an imaging means; a video range specification means for specifying the range of the video data where the identified object to be photographed is imaged; an identification information generation means for identifying the video data where the object to be photographed is photographed based on generated video range information; a video data storage means for storing the video data and identification information generated by the identification information generation means; a video data extraction means for extracting the video data where the specific object to be photographed is imaged from the video data stored in the video data storage means based on the identification information generated by the identification information generation means; and a video data output means for outputting the extracted video data.
