PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery managing device of a vehicle which can simply and accurately control the charging of a battery, which does not accumulate errors even when a frequent regeneration or an idle stop is performed, which positively improves a fuel cost and which reduces a noise or an exhaust gas. SOLUTION: The battery managing device 32 outputs a voltage value of a target to an inverter 11 and performs charging without controlling directly the generated torque of a motor/generator 15 in the case of charging. Since a 36V battery 16 is frequently charged by the regeneration, etc., the 36V battery 16 is normally charged by the voltage value corresponding to the remaining capacity of the battery of preset 70%.
