PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that life is approximately 25 years because of electric insulation deterioration by secular change in the conventional insulated wire of a ground electrode and a method for reinforcing insulation in the insulated wire of the ground electrode. SOLUTION: The insulated wire of the ground electrode and the method for reinforcing the insulation in the insulated wire of the ground electrode include a process. In the process, the outer periphery of the upper end of the insulated wire 3 buried in filler 2 inside an excavated hole 1 is covered with the lower end of a top fluoroethylene resin pipe 8 that has a screw formed at the outer periphery of a tip and a specific length, the top fluoroethylene resin pipe is rotated for pushing into the filler and is fitted to the outer periphery of the insulated wire, the lower end of a first fluoroethylene resin pipe for extension is added to the upper end of the top fluoroethylene resin pipe, the first fluoroethylene resin pipe 10 for extension is rotated, a second fluoroethylene resin pipe 9 for extension is added to the upper end of the first fluoroethylene resin pipe, and the second fluoroethylene resin pipe is rotated. As a result, the fluoroethylene resin pipe is extremely easily fitted to the insulated wire by rotating a top pipe for forming a screw section 7.
