PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle information providing system allowing a service user to request necessary information from an information center through a simple operation. SOLUTION: An information providing center 30 is provided with a plurality of lines corresponding to genres of information which service users desire to obtain, and a different telephone number is allocated to each of the lines. An on-vehicle device 10 has telephone numbers preset therein for each of the buttons of a hand-free/audio unit 17. A callee's telephone number is designated at the press of a preset button. A registering terminal 22 of a registration center 21 registers detailed items about the genres of information in a profile database 23 of the information providing center 30 in advance. When called from the on-vehicle device 10, the information providing center 30 obtains from a content database 25 the obtained information matching the detailed item registered by the service user in advance, and creates editing information for voice guidance.
