PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a risk that powder to be transported may be discharged outside a system. SOLUTION: The powder transporting device is structured so that an air suction line 7 connected with a vacuum pump 6 and a compressed air supplying line 9 are connected with the top of a cylindrical vessel 2 arranged at the bottom with a damper 3 and a powder suction hole 11 fitted with an opening/closing valve 12 is formed at the side wall so as to form an air conveyor 1. The air conveyor 1 is provided continuously with a hopper 14 whereto a sealed vessel 16 is attached, and to the hopper 14, a pressure rise absorption type filter device 20 and an air exhaust blower 30 are connected through a pressure relief pipe 18. The powder 15 is sucked into the vessel 2 put in a negative pressure condition by closing the damper 3 transferred to the hopper 14 by supplying compressed air 19 with the damper 3 opened separated from the compressed air 19 within the hopper 14, and dropped into the vessel 16. When the compressed air 19 flows into the hopper 14, a bellows 26 is elongated by the filter device 20 so as to increase the capacity of the air influx side, and thereby the negative pressure condition is maintained by suppressing a pressure rise inside the system.
