PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution of a rental forklift capable of calculating an exact rental charge in response to operation and/or movement of a lift in the forklift. SOLUTION: The rental forklift is provided with a device interlocked with any one or both of respective switches 5 of a driving source 4 for the lift 2 and a driving source 4 for a moving wheel 3 and measuring an operation time of the respective driving sources 4 by a pulse generation device 6 and a digital counter corresponding thereto or an ampere-hour meter or a watt-hour meter.
