PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material having transparency, excellent gas barrier properties and ultraviolet screening property with a wavelength range of 390 nm or below and producing no harmful substance at disposal and incineration. SOLUTION: This packaging material comprises a laminate which is constituted by laminating an adhesive layer and a sealant layer on the surface of the inorganic oxide vapor-deposited thin film layer of a barrier laminated film wherein the inorganic oxide vapor-deposited thin film layer is laminated on one side of a transparent film base material or by laminating the adhesive layer and the sealant layer on one surface of the barrier laminated film wherein the inorganic oxide vapor-deposited thin film layer is laminated on one side of the transparent film base material and laminating the sealant layer on the other surface of the laminated film. The vapor-deposited thin film layer comprises a layer with a thickness of 5-300 nm comprising silicon oxide, aluminum oxide or magnesium oxide. At least one adhesive layer comprises a mixture prepared by compounding 5-30 wt.% of a benzophenone ultraviolet absorber with 95-70 wt.% of a polyurethane resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
