PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compass by which drafting can be performed by using no central needle, without making a hole on a paper and there exists no possibility of piercing a finger of the hand. SOLUTION: A leg supporting base is formed on the apex of a leg. For the leg supporting base, a transparent dome is formed at the center of a transparent disc-like flat plate, and the top part is covered with a dome-shaped lid whose top part is circularly opened. A round movable part with a larger diameter than that of the circularly opened part of the lid is connected with the apex of the leg, and it is slidably fitted into a gap between the lid and the dome.
