PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting pedestal to be smoothly and silently lifted/lowered and easily moved by a simple operation by reducing the number of parts constituting a lift driving part and miniaturizing the device. SOLUTION: Two rotating shafts 4 and 5 are mounted in a lower part at the center in the front/rear direction of a legless chair mounting table 2 to pierce in the widthwide direction. The upper ends of oscillation support legs 6 and 7 with wheels 8 and 9 attached at the lower parts are fixed to parts of the rotating shafts 4 and 5 projecting to both sides of the legless chair mounting table 2 in such a way that the oscillation support legs on the same side are formed in a truncated chevron shape. Gears 11 and 12 are fixed to the rotating shafts 4 and 5 respectively to be engaged with each other. A presser operation piece 10 is disposed to project at the upper end of the oscillation support leg 7, and is connected to the front end of a piston rod 13a of a cylinder 13 mounted on the legless chair mounting table 2.
