<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electrolytic battery in which time required for initial charge in a production process is shortened, productivity is improved and overcharge safety is higher. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electrolytic battery includes a negative electrode using lithium metal or a lithium-contained compound as an active material for the negative electrode, a positive electrode and organic electrolyte, wherein the organic electrolyte used includes a specific amount of γ-butyrolactone and/or vinylene carbonate in solvent. The battery is constituted so that the negative electrode charged 90% for the battery's standard capacity may be 6.5 atom % or less in quantity of a carbon atom obtained by a peak of 286-287eV based on the carbon atom derived from C-O through X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis but 1 atom % or more in quantity of a boron atom provided from a peak of 192-193eV based on boron deriving from BOx, or 1 atom % or more in quantity of a phosphorus atom provided from a peak of 133-135eV based on phosphorous deriving from POx. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
