<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio base station system capable of continuing a service for an operating system even on the occurrence of a fault in any of radio transmission/reception sections in a configuration wherein a base station apparatus and a plurality of the radio transmission/reception sections are connected in cascade with an optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: Each of the radio transmission/reception sections 102, 103 connected to the base station apparatus 101 in cascade with the optical fiber includes a bus select section 26 for bypassing a received multiplex signal outputted from the other radio transmission/reception section connected at least to a post-stage as an uplink signal. For example, when a fault takes place in the radio transmission/reception section 102, the radio transmission/reception section 102 allows the bus select section 26 to bypass the received multiplex signal of the radio transmission/reception section 103 connected to the post-stage without any modification and outputs the signal to the base station apparatus 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
