<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller in which power can be exchanged among a plurality of batteries while minimizing an increase in system weight or capacity. <P>SOLUTION: While driving a motor 1 by two-phase power supply through inverters 2 and 3 comprising switching elements 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d and switching elements 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d, an isolated DC-DC converter is constituted of an inverter 4 comprising switching elements 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d, a coil 1w of the motor 1, a power conversion coil 7 wound together with the coil 1w and rectification diodes 8a and 8b, an output choke coil 9, and an output smoothing capacitor 11. The switching elements 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d are switched sufficiently quickly for the switching carrier of the switching elements 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d and the switching elements 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d in order to step down the power of a high potential battery 5 thus charging a low potential battery 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
