<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service station system capable of easily checking whether or not an automobile is a stolen one, and easily discovering a stolen car. <P>SOLUTION: The service station system comprises an automobile 18 having an identification piece 19 in which customer data on an owner and vehicle data including a vehicle number are recorded, and read from the outside, a service station equipment 12 having a reading sensor 29 to read the data in the identification piece 19 when the automobile 18 enters a service station 11, a controlling center 15 to transmit/receive the data read by the reading sensor 29 of the service station equipment 12 via a communication network 14, and a monitoring center 17 to determine the automobile is a stolen one by comparing the read data received from the controlling center 15 via the communication network 14 and the data in the database 37 with the customer data and the data on the stolen car are registered in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
