<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable both inner/outer members 1b and 1a to relatively advance/retreat in the axial direction under an extremely stable state only by turning either of both the inner/outer members 1b and 1a, constituting a male member 1 of both male/female members 1 and 2 for holding an end of each of two handrail members, with respect to the other member 1b or 1a, when the two handrail members are connected together; and to make a handrail stable by making neither of both the coupled inner/outer members 1b and 1a unstable, even if a force is applied to the connected handrail members d and d, particularly, an end of the handrail. <P>SOLUTION: A female screw 11 is formed in the inner peripheral surface of a base end, which is not positioned on the central axis, of the outer member 1a. A male screw 12, which can be screwed into the female screw 11, is formed on an outer peripheral surface which is not positioned on the central axis of a disk 13 serving as a part of the inner member 1b. The male screw 12 of the inner member 1b is screwed into the female screw 11 which is formed in the outer member 1a. A position to couple the inner member 1b and the outer member 1a together is not positioned on the central axis, and the inner member 1b and the outer member 1a are coupled together in a position near the outer peripheral surfaces of them, wherein a contact area is extremely large. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
