PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Web application server system for raising the flexibility of a change with respect to each of HTML data, a business component, and a JSP by mitigating structural dependency among them. SOLUTION: A bi-directional conversion rule 14 is prepared for HTML data 11 and a data set 15 having a data structure to be processed by the business component 16. A Web browser generates an HTTP request 12 including text data inputted by a user with respect to an HTML screen as the contents of tag elements, and hands it over to an application server 3. The application server converts the contents of the tag elements in the HTTP request into the data set 15 to be processed, in response to the conversion rule. The JSP 18 generates HTML data 11 to be handed over to the client 1 of a request source as a response by following the conversion rule, based on a processing result data set 17 with the processing result of the business component stored therein.
