PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detachable attachment for a monitor which can eliminate the influence of ambient light to a liquid crystal display screen and can continuously choose the viewing direction of the liquid crystal display screen at an eye level system position, a waist level system position and between both positions. SOLUTION: The detachable attachment for the monitor of portable apparatus has an attached member which can be attached to and detached fron, near the monitor of the portable apparatus in a prescribed positional relationship, has a first mirror on an optical axis of the liquid crystal display screen, has a second mirror on an optical axis of its reflected image and can continuously choose the viewing direction of the liquid crystal display screen. Thereby multiple direction viewing of the monitor is possible, a prescribed position is determined and attaching /detaching of the attached member for the monitor of multiple direction viewing is made exactly performable.
