PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant PVC (polyvinyl chloride) composition which has sufficient flame retardance, chemical resistance, and heat stability in molding and gives a molded article having good external appearance, and to provide the molded article therefrom. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant vinyl chloride resin composition comprises 100 pts.mass polyvinyl chloride resin and 0.1 pt.mass to 10 pts.mass smoke proof agent obtained by coating a smoke proof compound on a base material.
