<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refund payment system capable of improving security by authenticating a receiver in a refund payment transaction, reducing the work load of tellers of a financial institution and operators in charge of updating work of a payment notification management data base of a refund payment source and removing human mistakes. <P>SOLUTION: The refund payment system comprises an account system host computer which is a master device installed in the financial institution, an automatic transaction device which can be connected to the master device and is used by customers, and a payment notification management computer installed in an autonomy, an enterprise or the like being a refund payment source and capable of managing refund payment transaction data. These devices can be mutually connected by a network system which is a communication line such as a private line, and authentication, inquiry, and updating of payment notification data following a refund payment transaction are continuously performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
