PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air passage switching device preventing the leakage of air from a periphery of an engaging hook, by forming a seal portions having a shape that does not contact with a moving portion of a butterfly door. SOLUTION: The air passage switching device has the butterfly door 2 having a rotating shaft 3 and controlling the flow of air flowing in a case 1, an inserting shaft 4a inserted in an end of the rotating shaft 3, and the engaging hook 4b engaged with the case 1. The inserting shaft 4a is inserted and coupled in the end of the rotating shaft 2, and the air passage switching device is provided with a lever rotating the butterfly door 2. The case 1 is formed with seal members 1a, 1b sealing a clearance between the case 1 and the butterfly door 2, and the seal members 1a, 1b are formed so as to surround the engaging hook 4b. Packing material 8a, 8b are provided, which hermetically sealing the seal members 1a, 1b and the engaging hook 4b on an outer periphery of the rotating shaft 3 in which the inserting shaft 4a is inserted.
