PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit power of a power source such as an engine to auxiliary equipment such as a compressor of an air conditioner for a vehicle; to improve durability of a damper in a power transmission having the damper damping shocks generated starting time and stopping time of the power source. SOLUTION: The power transmission comprises a pulley 4 rotatably supported on a boss 2 of a housing 1 of auxiliary equipment, a power transmitting member 10 connected with a hub 8 mounted on the pulley, whereas power is transmitted from the pulley to the hub by connecting the hub coaxially arranged to the boss and firmly fixed on an end of a rotary shaft projecting outward from the boss and transmission of power is blocked when loaded torque of the auxiliary equipment exceeds a designated value, and a resin damper 14 arranged between the power transmitting member 10 and the pulley and elastically deforming by pushing with the power transmitting member. A plane damper pressed surface 28 orthogonal to a circle C centering an axis line of the rotary shaft is formed on the power transmitting member. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
