PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cockpit door disposed between the cockpit and the cabin, improving strength of the cockpit door itself and securing safety, while having means for communicating the cockpit and the cabin in the event of decompression in which cabin pressurization is rapidly reduced and means for the pilots to evacuate. SOLUTION: The cockpit door comprises a hinge 20 at one side, and a latch device 30 at the opposite side which is operable only from the cockpit side 3. Inside a door panel, a reinforcing plate 400 made of a titanium alloy is mounted to cover a gap G<SB>1</SB>to a flap 60, to which a reinforcing member 110 is mounted. The reinforcing member 110 is integrally formed by hot pressing a plurality of sheets made of cloth like aromatic polyamide yarn laminated on a honeycomb panel 300 with thermal-plastic adhesive press-attached. Mounting parts 150, 160 are provided on the periphery of the reinforcing member body 110, and a rivet insert hole 180 is made.
