PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier which can easily be assembled, and in which maintenance operation can easily be performed as well. SOLUTION: The bottom 72 of a case 51 is provided with a plurality of case side water passing holes 67 allowing the flow of water; further, a plurality of magnets 52 and 53 are arranged on the case 51 so as to be oriented toward a fixed direction; filter materials 54 are stored in the case 51 in such a manner that the upper parts of the magnets 52 and 53 are filled therewith; and the case 51 is covered with a cover body 55 provided with a plurality of cover body side water passing holes 83 allowing the flow of water to form a filter material cartridge 50. A plurality of the filter material cartridges 50 are prepared, and the filter material cartridges 50 are stored in a vessel 22 so as to be a stacked-up state along the flow of water. For example, water purifiers different in purifying capacity can be realized in accordance with the number of the combinations of the filter material cartridges.
