System for moving an object (1), e.g. a model aircraft, whereby the user has a remote control device (12) for controlling the object. A camera (4) is used to project the view from the object back to the user who can see the view from the camera in a head up display (10). A computer unit (6) processes the images from the camera in real time and in addition displays real time operating parameters. An independent claim is made for a method for moving an object using a real time remote control system and head up display.
