<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording sheet which is excellent in print aptitude by an ink-jet recording method and in offset printing aptitude while being simultaneously satisfied with anti-exudation, drying property and anti-glare, particularly, when providing the offset printing part with a print by the ink-jet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording sheet is provided with an ink receiving layer on a substrate. The ink receiving layer includes (a) a silica, (b) a binder, (c) an aluminum oxide hydrate and (d) polyarylamine. For the weight of solids, when the content of the binder is defined to be 1, the content of the silica ranges between 1.6 and 2.5. The portion of the silica exceeding 70 wt.% or higher has the average particle diameter of 6 to 16 μm according to a Coulter counter method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
