<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb non-compatibility in printing data generated in remote printing between different platforms to conduct compatible printing between computers operated on the different platforms. <P>SOLUTION: This printing system is constituted to execute printing processing for the printing data from a client in a server operated on the platform different from that of the client. The client adds paper sheet additional information to paper sheet information contained in a spool data stored in a spool file, to be transferred to the server.
