<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed controller for an elevator with an inexpensive microcomputer for controlling the speed of the elevator to have smooth ride by executing a step type speed command without shortening a calculation cycle of a speed command calculating part. <P>SOLUTION: The speed controller for the elevator is provided with the speed command calculating part obtaining the speed command for a car of the elevator by calculation, and a speed control calculating part calculating a torque command based on the speed command. The calculation cycle of the speed command calculating part is longer than that of the speed control calculating part, the speed commands for the prescribed number of calculations performed by the speed control calculating part during one calculation cycle are calculated and collectively transferred to the speed control calculating part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
