PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor capable of instantaneously and surely stop the rotation of an output shaft. SOLUTION: A stator unit 22 is fixed to a motor case 21, a rotor unit 24 is supported to the motor case 21, both ends of the output shaft 25 of the rotor unit 24 are rotatably supported to the motor case 21 along the axial direction so as to be displaceable, engagement parts 25b, 30 that can be engaged with each other are arranged at the motor case 21 of the one-end side of the output shaft 25 and the rotor 24, a coil spring 29 that is energized so as to displace the rotor unit 24 is arranged at the other-end side of the output shaft 25 so that the engagement parts 25b, 30 are engaged with each other, the rotor unit 24 is displaced against the energization of the spring coil 29 by the conduction of electricity to a stator coil 23, and thus the engagement parts 25b, 30 are released from an engaged state.
