BEARING UNIT AND MOTOR FOR VEHICLE USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit capable of facilitating replacement work of an abnormal bearing even when abnormality occurs in the bearing and to provide a motor for a vehicle having high driving efficiency without worsening the ground contact property of a tire and riding comfort by incorporating the bearing unit in a drive wheel of the vehicle such as an electric vehicle integrally.

SOLUTION: A circular housing member 41 which is fitted in an outer peripheral face of an outer ring 44 and is detachably fixed to a rotor holding part 20 to which the outer ring 44 is attached is provided. One side in the axial direction is exposed so as to attach to and detach from an annular mounting face 22 formed on a rotor holding part 20 side and is fitted in the housing member 41 on the other side on a peripheral face of the outer ring 44. A stator and a rotor of the motor have cylindrical shapes and are light in weight.
