PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor cooling equipment capable of maintaining a cooling capability for a long period also after evaporation and depletion of cooling water in the outer pool only by adding a simple passive equipment. SOLUTION: An exhaust pipe 12 connecting from upper gas phase 10a of the outer pool 10 formed in the gap between a reactor containment 8 and a reactor building 9 to the outside air by penetrating the reactor building 9 is provided, and also a connection pipe 11 penetrating the reactor building 9 from the lower part of the outer pool 10 is provided.
