PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage system highly efficient, capable of manufacturing iced water at a temperature below zero and flexibly adaptable to large scale facilities while minimizing the power for separating the crystals of ice of a heat storage material from a cooling surface and the power for stirring a whole iced water heat storage tank to suppress the aggregation of ice of the heat storage material. SOLUTION: Ethanol antifreezing water solution is used as the heat storage material. The supercool of the heat storage material cooled into an supercooled condition by a supercooler 7 is released by a supercool releasing device 8 to manufacture sherbet iced water of at a temperature below zero which is supplied to the iced water heat storage tank 3. An iced water output port 9 of the iced water heat storage tank 3 is formed in a tubular shape with its front end being wider and arranged near a liquid surface.
