PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal which can completely prevent a volatile ink from volatilizing on account of the exhibition of an excellent sealing effect by a sealing member even in case the volatile ink is used. SOLUTION: This seal is constituted of a seal body 1 having a collar part 7 stretched out from the lower peripheral surface of a holder 3 and a printing element housing cylinder part 4, for stowing away a porous printing element 5, extending as an integral part below the holder 3 and a cap 20 formed of an inner cap 21 packing a sealing member 24 in a groove part 23 for housing the member 24 formed on the upper peripheral surface and an outer cap 22 having a hook member 26 which is connected therewith in an opening/closing manner and has a click part 25 formed on the side surface oppositely facing the inner cap 21. The inner cap 21 is ascendably retained by the outer cap 22 through an elastic body, the click part 25 of the hook member 26 is engaged with the collar part 7 of the holder 3 and when the seal body 1 and the cap 20 are fitted to each other, the inner cap 21 springs back ascending by the elastic body and the sealing member 24 reaches the lower end of the collar part 7.
