PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blasting method having no fear of environmental contamination and effectively using shells. SOLUTION: In the case of grinding, polishing and cleaning, shell granular powder with a particle diameter from 5μm to 3.5 mm is used as a blasting material, in the case of etching, shell granular powder with a particle diameter from 5μm to 5 mm is used as a blasting material, or in the case of grinding, polishing and cleaning, a material partially containing shell granular powder with a particle diameter ranging from 5μm to 3.5 mm is used as a blasting material, and in the case of etching, a material partially containing shell granular powder with a particle diameter ranging from 5μm to 5 mm is used as a blasting material.
