The invention relates to novel pyrazol pyridine derivatives of formula (I), wherein R<1 >signifies a radical of formula -O-SO2-R<3>, R<3 >represents a radical from the group consisting of optionally substituted C1-6-alkyl, optionally substituted C3-8-cycloalkyl, or optionally substituted phenyl, R<2 >represents H or optionally substituted C1-6-alkyl-SO2-; in addition to the salts, isomers and hydrates thereof, as stimulators of soluble guanylate cyclase, and to the use thereof as agents for treating cardio-vascular diseases, hypertonia, thromboembolic diseases and ischaemia, sexual dysfunction or inflammations and for treating diseases of the central nervous system
