PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information collection device automatically collecting information via a network about an apparatus connected to the network.

SOLUTION: This information collection device comprises an instruction receipt means 221 for receiving an information acquisition instruction, a storage means 222 for storing acquisition destination information 226 specifying an information acquisition destination, an information collection means 223 for selecting the apparatus specified by the acquisition destination information 226 in receipt of the information acquisition instruction by the instruction receipt means 221 and directly/indirectly accessing the specific storage area in storage devices 211-214 installed to the apparatus via the network1 for receiving transfer of the stored information and collecting it, and an acquisition information data storage means 224 for creating acquisition information data 227 relating the collected information to the acquisition destination information 226 and storing it in a storage device 225.
