<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat transferring performance by promoting the circulation of the liquid-phase working fluid in a heat pipe comprising a porous wick. <P>SOLUTION: In this heat pipe, the condensable working fluid is sealed inside of a container sealed in an airtight state, the wick 5 composed of a porous material is mounted inside of the container for circulating the liquid-phase working fluid by capillary pressure, a part of the container 2 is used as an evaporating part 3 for evaporating the working fluid by the heat from the external, and the other part of the container is used as a condensing part 4 for condensing the working fluid by radiating the heat to the external. A direct-current circulating passage 6 having a cross-sectional area larger than a cross-sectional area of a pore formed on the porous material 5 and allowing the liquid-phase working fluid to flow toward the evaporating part 3, is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
